SCC - Sports Car Center is a well-established exclusive and premium car retailer with a turn-key service offering for its tasteful clientele.
SCC's signature service, Concierge, is a service for those for whom ordinary is not enough. Every year, SCC acquires hundreds of high-quality cars for its customers around the world. Over 30 years of automotive industry experience guarantees a wide cooperation network, thanks to which SCC has been able to fulfil its customers' dreams with exactly the cars they were looking for.
Focus on connected experience
In early 2024, SCC refined its strategy. Recognizing the evolving landscape of customer expectations, macroeconomics, and technological advancements, SCC introduced its "Car Sales 3.0" strategy, focusing on delivering a superior customer experience, adopting a flexible service model, and optimizing its retail footprint while maintaining a comprehensive service offering.
“Our old website was nearly unusable,” reflects Miikka Råman, Chief Operating Officer at SCC.
“With our new strategy, we saw a chance to connect everything. Our new plan needed better tools, and we needed partners who could help make our vision real.”
This ambitious vision required a partner with expertise in digital transformation and a deep understanding of customer-centric design.
The collaboration between SCC and DK&A was initiated through Bluebird Media, also a member of The North Alliance (NoA) and SCC's long-standing performance marketing partner.

Dual focus
The vision was clear: to create a seamless, connected digital platform that would support SCC’s new strategy. We aimed to provide an inspirational and trustworthy digital experience for customers.
A key objective was to offer as detailed information of vehicles as possible, including condition reports and all noted imperfections, to build trust and facilitate informed decisions.
For the sales team, we focused on integrating different digital tools to streamline operations, ensuring compatibility with SCC’s existing Dealer Management System (DMS) to maintain workflow continuity and reducing manual tasks by utilizing enriched data, and enabling quick car listings with minimal clicks.
By addressing these goals, we looked to pave the way for a more efficient and impactful automotive retail experience.
A phased approach
Our collaboration started with an initial discovery & planning phase, during which both teams worked closely to identify key requirements and to design an integrated workflow and solution. The objectives were clear: streamline operations, improve data management, and elevate the customer experience.
This foundational work set the stage for the development of SCC's new digital sales platform.
Crafting the experience
DK&A led the design and engineering of an engaging, connected experience for both SCC's sales team and customers:
Experience design: We improved user flows and interfaces to make it easier and more enjoyable for customers and the sales team to interact with.
Product and content model: We established clear guidelines for content and vehicle data management to ensure that information is consistent, reliable, and easily accessible across all digital touchpoints, including marketplaces.
Data architecture: We set up efficient data flows and contracts to manage data and connect with other systems effectively.
Integrated platform: We built a new website and integrated sales tooling that work seamlessly together with key systems and marketplaces to provide a smooth user journey.
Scalable infrastructure: We engineered a scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Vercel and Sanity to ensure high availability at optimized cost.
Creating a connected platform
Benefitting from the broad expertise within the NoA family, DK&A invited experienced developers from NoA Ignite to join the team.
Over a period of a few months, we collaborated together with SCC's core team and several key partners to ensure all aspects of the solution were aligned with SCC's strategic goals and operational needs.
When choosing tech tools, we looked at all options carefully. “We wanted tools that worked well without wasting money,” says Råman.
One of the biggest challenges? Connecting with all of SCC’s existing systems.
“We had many partners and systems that didn't always play nice together. We had to make some tough calls – but DK&A helped us find the smart path forward.”
To make the vision real, we brought together experts from all partners and connected to a set of new capabilities:
Advectus: SCC's Dealer Management System (DMS) provider, ensuring seamless integration of sales person's daily tools with the new digital platform.
CitNOW and InternalCars, offering advanced tools for media asset management and car condition modeling, respectively.
SilverDAT, supplying comprehensive automotive data to enhance equipment data accuracy and build customer trust.
Keyloop Automaster DMS/Enerius: Car maintenance data, providing SCC sales staff with detailed service histories and records to inform customer interactions.
Netwheels/GT-X: Part of Alma Media, facilitating real-time insights into vehicle valuations and market trends, as well as acting as a publishing gateway to car portals and ensuring SCC's digital reach.
OpenAI: Leveraged for equipment data translations and auto-generation of car descriptions, ensuring consistent content across all audiences.
Klaviyo: Customer data and automation platform, allowing SCC to deliver personalized marketing campaigns and enhance customer engagement through targeted communications.
Bluebird Media: SCC's long-standing performance marketing partner, contributing valuable insights into customer engagement strategies and SEO.
Driving success
The results of our teamwork speak volumes. The new platform has changed SCC's business in real, measurable ways. Their sales teams now spend less time on paperwork and more time delivering the exceptional service SCC is known for.
